Turkey Day Weekend

The day before Thanksgiving, I got a new nephew. Welcome to the family Luke! We sure love you already. Check out his handsomeness at The Payneful Truth

Artwork by Maglet...nice job sis!
We spent our Thanksgiving Day with our East Coast family who are always kind to include us :) We had a yummy feast. Jeff made his famous toffee pumpkin cheesecake which was decadent! We had a great day together. Carl and Eddie played in the Turkey Bowl earlier in the morning and had a great time. This was Carl's first and he was excited to be included (I think his team was excited by his interception and all around awesome playing). Fun day for sure!

The next day we set up the Christmas Tree and decorated. It looks like someone plastered every available surface in our front room but it's fun. Alley finally got her turn to put the star on top of the tree (she's been waiting for a couple years...)

Then we went to a fun light display at a church with some friends. We met this family because Carl and their son are school buddies but now we're family friends and that is a really great thing.

And we got a visit with Santa and a candy cane. How lucky is that?
