(Sorry about the psychotic looking eyes, that's flash not sick eye)
This is a tribute to our family cat of 17 years: Deder. Deder was a playful and tricky cat. She loved to slink onto your lap if you were sitting on the floor and discretely massage her claws into your leg. She was always up for a chase the feather on a stick game, leaping and lunging to catch it. To my kids great amusement she would chase a piece of yarn for many years as well. She loved Christmas when she would spaz out in the empty boxes and gift wrap left laying around. She would roll over on command (well, Dust's and Dare's at least). Here are some pictures of Deder from last week.
We will miss you Deder.
Deder and Jeff...a leg massage perhaps?
Dare let Deder lick his ear, mmmmm.

She really was an awesome cat...plus she cut costs on q-tips! I will miss her, but I know she is in good hands now.
